Sketches was my first short film that I ever made. I wrote, produced, directed, shot, and edited the film.
This film holds a special place in my heart. After watching it for the first time with my dear friends on a big screen in my college’s theater, it made me truly fall in love with filmmaking.
It is far from perfect. The autofocus messes up. Sound can be funky. The color grading is inconsistent. But the shot at three minutes and 25 seconds in, as the music expands, still gives me a feeling of creative satisfaction that I chase in all my projects to this day.
